3rd Annual "PETS REDUCING FOR RESCUES" Ideal Weight Contest
and Pet Nutrition Fair Jan 22, 2011.
THE PET NUTRITION FAIR
Ideal weight pets feel better live longer and have lower health care costs! (and pet food too!) Come learn about all the great advances in preventative pet nutrition, ideal weight, and evidence based supplements that can help your pet live a longer and healthier life. Vendors from all the major prescription food and supplement companies (Royal Canin,Purina, Hills, Vetri-science & Nutramax) and our Drs will be on hand to discuss how your pet could benefit.
58% of pets are over their ideal weight according to the latest national survey!
THE CONTEST
3 divisions: Iron Dogs (5 to 20 % over ideal), Biggest "4 Pawed" Losers (dogs 20% or more over ideal), and Biggest Feline Losers (previously Fat Cats!) will compete for prizes and bragging rights! Contestants can also team with pets from friends, family & coworkers to create "dog packs" for additional fun & prizes.
There are over $2500 (just updated!) in food & prizes. ($500-$1000 in each category!)

RESCUES BENEFIT!
4 Paws Swim & FItness and Westside Family Pet Clinic will donate $1 for each pound lost to the rescue of your choice. Contestatns are encourage to add matching funds per pounds lost and challenge friends to enter their pets or pledge funds for each pound lost. Dog packs can be formed from 3 or more pets in same category from different families and will be awarded additional prizes.
